| The Matlock Years |
Where we are, what we are doing, and what we look like now!
Jayne Fletcher-Tomlinson After leaving Matlock I went to Warwick University (glutton for punishment) and did an M.A. in Renaissance Drama and Literature. After finishing that I went back to London working for a Saudi company and then returned to Nottingham shortly before the birth of my eldest daughter, Sophie in 1990. After lecturing at Nottingham Trent University and working for an IT business as a trainer and consultant, I married Paul and had three more children - Hannah (1998), Freya (2000) and Thomas (2003). In the summer of 2003 we left Nottingham and moved to Louth in the Lincolnshire Wolds where Paul works for local government. I now look after the family, including the cats (Lily, Jasper, Merlin and Theo), write and belong to the Louth Poets . We have recently acquired a property in Spain and are contemplating moving to France in a couple of years time, once Sophie has completed her A's. I have been back to Matlock on several occasions and have followed with interest the fate of Rockside.
